I used to rep sundown hardcore back in the day. Not so much anymore though, as college passes are so damn cheap. Still head there once in a while when I can get a shop ticket from Sartor though, Jarrod is good peoples.
Talks of wanting to open this weekend if possible however Jarred, Jeff, Brandon(en), and a few others will be up in West Springfield for our Annual Rail Jam. If you're reading or posting on THIS forum post, you live close enough to make it to the event.
but you could drive an hour more to shred at snow????? you guys gona run any comps at sundown this year. i think that be sick, something like after the main even when the park is prime and j-rod has a couple jumps up?
Don't forget the 32' - that's a first day staple.
I'll be at the Rail Jam on the 5th for sure.
Evan - December 12 is the Oakley Sessions, and there will probably be all the Jam sessions on Saturdays, and I'm sure S7 will be going down at the end of the year. Gonna be a sick season for comps I think.
and Wiggin...the reason Pylypyszyn is talking about arabian goggles is cause that's what spacetiger yelled out at the Rail Jam in front of a bunch a kids.
We need multi-quote...
yea the oakley sesh is always fun. too bad hagearty left thats like 90% of my team haha. would anyone want to carpool upto snow or teh jam on saturday??????
I think he meant so like joeys could do it without getting hurt - not so joeys couldn't do the rail, cause we all know they'll still try, haha. But good loop whole.
i've never understood this. Sundown always seems to be getting fucked for insurance reasons for their jumps all the time when kids wreck themselves on them meaning little jumps. Why can mountains like mount snow make huge jumps and never get in trouble. Okemo always has some decent sized jumps and never gets in trouble and has to knock them down. Now we need to set up rails so kids who shouldn't be near them can hit them?
more money - it's that simple. Those mountains are bigger and get more people to go there so they have more money so they can get better insurance.
As far as jumps - They can be as big as Jarrod and crew wants, they just have to be a step-up, which is safer cause your not falling as far out of the sky - but if you hit them right you can go just as big.
Also, They're planning on splitting the park in half again for the spring season (the did it with the slopestyle course last season for S7) - so pretty much anything can be put in there cause it's basically invite only, someone from the park crew sits at the opening and says whether or not you can go in. It's such a good system cause then the kids who like the bigger jumps and sick rail set-ups can throw down on them without any gayper or joeys ruining them and the little kids and new kids still have somewhere to play that is in between the bunny park and the slope coarse.
rails have the "joey catcher " on them because i feel it makes sense. as far as gaps to rails... sure... would you like a gap to 40 foot down flat down rail on the steepest trail in the state?
any suggestions should be brought to us on the chair lift when we're sessioning the park with you guys.
we'll try to build what you want because,/..... you're paying for it.. hows that sound?
now can we please.... start a different thread about this that is at least 7% less gay than fantasy factory
