Ski Sundown 10/11 Season

Last years end of the season was so sick on stinger.. With the hip, canon, down up to fdf small rail, then flat box. And there was more on top, try to make it like that!

 
We'd love to...trust us, we want the park to be sick just as much as you (if not more). Problem is the rain is screwing us pretty much. It makes the snow very difficult to work with and we're trying to keep our piles untouched to preserve them, and we spend most of our time fixing what the rain ruined instead of adding/moving new features. Also, we don't have much time in the morning on the weekends. If all goes according to plan (no promises, stuff happens) we're going to wake up early to do a quick re-arrange tomorrow morning, and then hopefully Monday we'll do a bit of a rebuild (again, this is the plan, and things can change if stuff comes up - not too mention we have our bump comp next weekend which might take up some of our time....)
 
It was too windy today to do anything for most f the day anyways...I watched a few people literally take off straight and get blown all the way to the left and then deck...no fun. I was too busy playing on the srail mini jib...fun (at least for a windy day).
 
I agree, it's time to tone things down a bit. Even if you are trying to preserve snow. Big red is awful now, time for the smaller fun things that don't take up as much snow.
 
They still have alot of snow, and today stayed at 40 in New Hartford, they still have another 1.5-2weeks probably. I'm aware it'll be 62 friday but they have alot of snow to work with from their jumps and stuff.
 
It's all about money, people pay for a ticket?

Soooooooooooooo.......... Closing day? I've been shoveling all the snow in my very shaded yard into a nice large pile so i may session whent he season is over... unfortunately :(
 
Hey someone told me that Line Traveling Circus already posted an edit with all there sundown footage. This true? cause I can't find it.
 
It sucked. I wore only a tall tee and my suspenders on bare skin. the metal part of my suspenders rubbed against my nip's all day and chaffed (SP?) them so bad......... owwie. also the lift tower is falling out hahaha, can we please just take it out and makea nice launchy box?

No, the real question is, how did ski patrol not see this going on? they were seshing that for atleast a half hour lol. Oh and remember how everybody in the kirk fanpage was arguing about how good he was and how can front, back and lincoln..... yeah, joe nichols right there throwing all of those, and he's younger than kirk.
 
if it snows later this week and we open we'll have an entirly new park set up. i took everyhting out this morning.
 
A little early to be thinking about next year, but this looks like a cool contest. likea slopestyle without jumps. 1:20

toms got some new snow features... rollers a spine and some mini hips, also a mini jump at the end....

Stinger got overhauled and has the tube set up kinda down should be good for spins on... then c box/hip combo deally into the big dfd into stall into big red as an up. jump line got turned into jump roller jump roller and its all pretty chris mckenna....

should be a good time we're pretty happy with how it came out.

 
yo you guys should take out that jump roller jump roller line and just make a nice jump anduse the extra snow to setup a flatbar or the small dfd cuz there's no point to them if you dont open them. plus i've seen like 7 people get wrecked on that last roller
