Because of Jarrod openly voicing his complaints about Jack's fantasy factory thread i decided to make a new one that actually makes sense. This thread is for all the locals that want park updates, pictures, new edits, and just bullshitting which is what makes sundown so great.

LET IT SNOW SO THE SEASON CAN BEGIN
 
Well, this one died pretty quick...Let's bring it back!
Ski Sundown OFFICIALLY kicks off the Season Friday, December 18th at 9:00AM!!!! Who's gonna be there?
Also, Don't forget about Oakley Sessions on Saturday!!! This weekend is gonna be SICK!
 
I'm not gonna get there at 9, but I'll probably show up before noon like I said earlier - I'm not sure yet.
 
horrible . . . gross and horrible.

quick update. typing sucks.

looking at 10+ rails a hip and maybe a small kicker. i have one arm so no promise on small kicker.

park crew starts work at 5am. update when we get off the hill and into the shop to clean up the 32 and s rails.

expected feature list is...

20foot fdf

20 foot flat up

a bonk or 7

8 foot rail

16 foot rail

24foot fdf box

24 dfd rail

cannon/hip

36 foot trap

everything is up except the hip sams jib the s and the trap. should have that by the am.

I heard about the set-up Jarrod's making for you, sounds sick, I can't wait to see it and see what gets thrown down, gonna be crazy.
 
im on my way rite now to sundeezy, havnt been there in 2 days, i went on friday saturday and sunday tho, it was really sick. nice job park crew!!
 
any reason why you guys took the 32 down as the shooter? and any new features going up anytime soon. i know with jarrod out of commission its gona be harder. but i know me and all of my friends would be more than happy to dig a feature in. the stuff thats up is getting kinda repetitive
 
To be honest, after watching Luke hit everything the other day, I have so many new things I want to try that I don't care what the set-up is. Sure, it would be nice to have a new set-up, but I have a whole bunch of things I want to try now that I can do with this set-up. Just saying.
 
in office today. plans are to see about a jump, drop in a couple more rails and tidy up whats there already.

tuesday looks like a real productive snow making day so we're not going to waste time dropping jibs under guns. doesnt make sense to.

first off, sorry, but my arm isnt doing really well. actually its bad...

i was able to fix the lip of that small table to be a bit more realistic, so that's good. tried to re-do some of the set ups for the weekend...

NEWS: the long awaited ACTUAL PARK BUILD begins monday. park will be closed till 12pm.

2 cats, 5 diggers, 12 new set ups...

we're clearing way for snow making for the main event booter and getting the "public park" done so we can focus on the main event slope style course the week after.

after main event course and that martin luther king weekend, we'll step up the "public park" again to the standards that you all hold us to after this many seasons.

again, sorry for the past couple weeks, but its not good... surgen is pissed, my arm is pissed, my girl is pissed....

put up some vids so i can get a better feel for how you want things since i cant really get up there to much in teh day
 
yea for sure. all the locals know you got hurt so its no biggie. is the main event lane gona be roped off at the top? doing something small like that and having features on the other side would really help keep all the lips and park in much better condition. and make it much safer. the jump now is sick but you really have to dodge alot of gapers when you drop and it gets dangerous considering how fast we haul into that thing
 
I haven't been there for almost a week and I think I'm going through withdrawals I can't wait to get back there on Tuesday!
 
today they had flat rail, s- rail, big dfd rail, c-box, up box, battleship (buried deep). All were set up really well. Tomorrow should be real nice
 
if the fucking newbs show up... we'll set sup the cannon and a flat box... 6:40am and still waiting.

one arm... boo!
 
I'll be there around noon today, can't wait to ski, it feels like it's been forever.
