Ski suggestions

Hey

I am looking for some suggestions on new skis. I consider myself a fairly advanced skier at about 6 ft 220 lbs. I have slowly made my way into the park the past few years. Im lookin for some all mountain twins for the north east conditions. I have 183 k2 energys for the past few years and was thinking of going a little shorter. what do u guys think?

I'd say to check out the 4FRNT MSP. The MSP is an all-mountain/park ski. At 181 cm, it is the perfect size for you. Armada also makes an all-mountain/park ski, the ARV. The ARV comes in 175 and 185, so if you wanted to go bigger you could check those out in 185. I have a pair in 175 and they are a blast, wide enough to ski the pow decently (92 mm waist, same as the MSP) but also very fun in the park. Another similar ski is the K2 Kung Fujas, which comes in 179 and 189. At 95 mm, it is a little wider than the MSP/ARV but, from what I've heard, it is soft which could make it fun in the park.

If you find yourself wanting to go wider, check out the Line Blend (183 cm, 100 mm waist)

are the Blends and the ARVs comparable ?? softness, pop...? and would you say the waist is a little bit of a personnal choice between the arv (92mm) and the blends(100mm).... because, i'm also looking at a all moutain ski... I rode Anthems last year but they were stolen...

dont go smaller mount more center! haha but how much all mountain riding are you doing, like lots of snow or groomers mostly? basicly im curious what width you were thinking about (if any). Cuz that would help alot. if you dont get alot of pow i would say look into the AR6, walls, chronics, addicts somthing like that, but look at everyone elses posts cuz they're on on the wider skis.

sry for the double post but...although those skis ^ have the same waist size...they are not very similar. the bridges are all mountain skis that can hold their own in the park. and the anthems are park skis that can handle the whole mountain...if that makes sense

Yea i dont know too much about waist size or where to mount...so im trying too learn. But im mostly on groomers dont get too much pow where i ski in the NE. I might make a trip out to utah this year but im not to worried about having a wider ski just for one trip. I'm also leaning to models from last yr cause im a college kid on a budget. but ill take any and all suggestions.thanks for the help

stiff as hell, and not the lightest things in the world, either. nor are they the most well constructed for whatever reason..

well how much park do u get into? rails jumps what? you're not going to want to go shorter on skis probably mt them -2.5 from center for your all mt purpuses unless u get a simetrical ski, you'll probably wanna keep your eye on tramdock.com for some deals and you can get somthing cheap.

Ive been hittin the park more and more lately. ive stuck to jumps mostly but this yr i wann try and hit some rails. if u guys think my 183s k2 energys are a good length im starting to think i just might move my mount up a little. they just felt long like i couldnt attack my turns...if that makes sense. thanks foor everyones help
