Ski socks, in between sizes. Options?

So a while ago I posted my issues with darntough never quite fitting right, I was met with praise for the company and I never quite got it. They're great but don't fit me well. They're not that elastic but that may only be part of the issue. Turns out, I'm right between sizes. The L is a little too tight and the XL a little too long, I have both. Large is sized like 9-12 and xl is like 12.5-15.

Anyone with similar sized feet (12.5) find a good pair that fit and isn't between sizes? The XL work ok but before I drop near 30 bucks on a pair it'd be nice to have ones that fit better. I'm either stepping on the heel pocket or it bunches up behind my heel. Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem. I started using stance socks and they’re honestly the best fitting and performing socks I’ve ever owned. Their sizing is very accurate. I wear a large and a large for them is 9-13. I do have a couple smart wool too but imo stance is the best I’ve used

You bet! Enjoy them! And they do wu tang ski socks every year so how can a guy not get those at least? Lol

Haha I saw the biggie ones! Finally tried on the pair I ordered, what a comfy ass sock! The L and R is a nice touch I wasn't expecting. If they hold up I'll def get more

Aren't Stance socks all cushioned though?

Smartwool makes a zero cushion ski specific sock that fits size 12 foot perfect in XL. Super thin, no padding anywhere.

Hell yeah! Glad you’re hyped on them! I’ve had some of mine for 3 seasons so I would say they hold up pretty well!

They have some with little to no cushion but then there are some with lots of cushion. The problem I ran into with zero cushion socks is for some reason they never stayed up on my leg and I wore holes in them way faster then any other style of sock.
