Ski Snapping Stories

What the fuck, is this thread about snapchat or broken ski stories?

Once my skis snapped and they were broke... Kinda like tanners ankles

sorry, broken ski stories

Wind gust took my speed, as I was coming out of a cork 7 my skis caught the knuckle and one snapped.

When I was 8 I was on this hill in a farmers field on one of those plastic Wal-Mart snowboards. I went down the hill and it snapped in the middle and I managed to cut my hand on it. That wasn't a pretty sight.

My skis hooked on a blind surface switch and one of them hit the support of the rail and snapped... two weeks later i bought another pair of skis, which i used into the summer. Then on my last run at windells, i overshot a cork five and tumbled a little bit and when i got up not one but both skis had snapped in the same spot.

I thought there was a snow lip onto this little rock and I thought cool a little jib. Turned out it was soft as fuck and I slammed straight into a rock double ejected and snapped my TC

Not me, but my dad was skiing backcountry in super low visibility, thinks he hit a rock and went over a decent ledge/cliff but when he woke up, his ski was in two and one of the halves managed to work its way in between his tibia and patella. Such a sweet scar.

Snapped the cores on a pair of Line EP Pros (sad day) right behind the bindings coming up slightly short on a step-up. Luckily the bases and topsheets basically held the skis together but it made for an incredibly sketchy ski down to the base.

well last season during ski club with my school, my skis got stolen by somebody and I found them three weeks later at ski club on a rack there. so I took them back and then the day after that I went to mount snow it was a saturday, sunny and perfect and hit a rail and snapped right behind the binding. talk about luck . haha
