Ski Sizing

Whats up NS. Im looking to ski a somewhat shorter ski. im about 5' 11 165lbs. I was looking into ether 151 or 161for sizes. How much performance will be lost and what not with a shorter ski?

you will be very unstable on them. i skied on my friends 161 flyers and i am 5'10" and i could barely make it down the hill. i would never ski on anything shorter than a 170. if you want something shorter, get like a 165 at the least for playing around. ur tall so you could ski a 170 like its a baby ski. but you will have teh worst time on a 161 and even worse on a 151. dont waste your money

you need at the very least a 170.

I think if you really want a small ski go with 171 invaders, since there center mounted they would feel smaller. But in all reality you should def go with 178+.

yeah im an inch taller than you and on 181's.

im 5'10 and im skiing the 176 09 dumonts.. Definatly dont go 161 or 165......... go 170+

not sure why you would want to go that short. Id say u need a 175 at least but if you are set on a short ski i hear icelantic skis are real stable.
