Right now I'm 5'5.5 and 135 pounds, Next sesson I'm probly gonna be about 5'6-5'7, 140 pounds(give or take) and I was jsut woundering if u think the line 142 would be to shot for me??

 
depends what your riding. i'd say get the 1260s. something around a 160-170.

i'm 5'9, 140 lbs, i ride a 165. kinda small, but who really cares. i dont ski pow all that often, and i've always had short skis.

I'm ridding 165's right now and I'm really wanting shorter ski's even for in powder I just can't countrol my 165s as good as my old 140's

I am 6'2 and I ride 177 Salomon 1080s. If I buy the new ones for next season, I am going to get the 171 model. Shorter is better IMHO...

I'm 5'11' - 6'0' and I ride the 1260s. I've always skied on shorter skis and I def. don't do powder cause we don't get any. Ski length is definatly a personal preference. Go with what you're comfortable with, and ride the size YOU want to ride.

Its Kinda Hard To know what I want to ride because Demo's hardly every let a 13 year old try there ski;s so its Kinda Like have to bye them to know what I want, And I don;t have that much money and even If I did I would spend it on a summer camp not 3 pairs of ski;s

Go with what you like more. I suggest trying to demo the skis your looking at by the end of this year or early next year. Try like a half a day to a day on both and see what you like to ride. Personally, I would go with the longer ones though (if you can hnadle them)! Enjoy

i say anything for 160-165. im 5' 5' 120lbs. and my 165s are a lot harder to spin on then my 160s cuase of the weight and length. but next year ill be taller so they'll fit me perfect. I like my skis about up to my nose. or eyes.

 
Ya, I'm 6 feet and ski 173s. Get skis that are between your chin and top of your head. Anywhere in that range should be fine.

yah between chin and top of ur head is where u want it cuz i think u start losing stability if u go shorter
