Ski size and spining

Im 5'3"( maybe 5'4" havnt measured in a while) and Last year i was using some 145 2005 line chronic mini's which were up to my chin and i didnt have much problem spinning( obviously they were like snowblades). This year im usuing some Ninthward Lil' butters ( 160 cm, at my forehead and basically my height). Last season i could spin 360's off of fairly small things like little jumps at the side of runs and shit and im pretty sure i could spin a 540 if i wouldnt stop pussing out.

anyways....

i was wondering how much this is going to impact my spinng. Like am i going to have trouble throwing 180's or will i not even notice.

Im very curious about this too... Ive always used pretty short skis for park (about chin height as well.) But of course they are squirley everywhever but the park.

Can someone list all major differences in park skiing?

I have a feeling you won't notice much of a difference. Especially if you start the year out on the new pair. I really doubt you'll notice. If you were to ski one day on the chronics and then the next on the ninthwards then you'd notice it, but not after a whole summer I don't think you'll notice it.

do be honest i use skis that are quite a bit taller than me and while it's an adjustment from shorter skis after the first couple days it's not much much different espcially not on real jumps little things on the side of the trail are harder but off real park jumps even small ones there won't be to much difference

I am going through the same thing but was able to ski my rail on my new skis.I didn't really notice because of the summer but it is somewhat weird for spins when you first try them. i skied a 131 last year (at my chin) and now I ski a 158(chin) for reference.

yah ill be goin through the same thing half way through this season. im ridin 161's that are barely up to my mouth and im probably goin up to 175-181. im 6 foot 200lbs so i think itll help a lot plus i keep getting asked if im using snowblades haha. i boosted your karma for yah

well at the beginning of last season i could pop flat land 3s on 166 i moved to 177 and after about two runs.. i got it
if you center mount the increased tip lenth is only half of the actual diferenc in ski lenght

if your ski is fifteen cm longer not all fifteen will be at the tip... you know? only like 7.5 will be its not as bad as it sounds

main thing is though... man up and huck a five hahaha

get it done

shiiit u can pop threes just like, standing still? i can barely do 180s on my PEs and 270s on my disorderlys...i suck haha.

haha yeah its super hucked just standing but if im just gliding along and pop an ollie i can almost get five

popping really helps set spins

the worst that could happen is you catch an edge and look like a gaper but all you got to do to fix that is finish the run switch
