Ski Shops

i always get my bindings mounted and my tune ups done at ski market in boston. their prices arent bad and the people there know alot about skiing. they carry all the new twin tips but they have no fat skis. i also like freds freeride at killy but there way over priced

SKI MARKET SUCKS!

Fred's Freeride is expensive, but they know their sh*t. And at least they cater to us instead of the rest of the crap.

My local shop (Ski Shop West) in Framingham is pretty legit. Good luck finding a good shop that represents.

theres a good shop with descent prices in portsmouth NH. putnams ski and snowboard. they have some new school riders there that are pretty cool as opposed to the usual 'ski salesmen' who suck. and they carry line skis, salomon, volant (i think), rossignol (i think), and a few other twin tips that i can't recall right now. its a cool store and their tuning and drilling prices are as good as they get but like just about everyplace around their skis and boots are always overpriced. when looking for a good ski shop its really like looking for the lesser evil you know? i say just get sponsored and let your sponsor take car of your shit. word.

Polar opposites don't push away

It's the same on the weekends as the rest of the days

And I know I should go but I'll probably stay

And that's all you can do about some things

I'm trying to drink away the part of the day

That I cannot sleep away

Two one eyed dogs, they're looking at stereos

Hi-fi Gods try so hard to make their cars low to the ground

These vibrations oil its teeth

Primer gray is the color when you're done dying

I'm trying to drink away the part of the day

That I cannot sleep away

i second the 'SKI MARKET SUCKS' post. the one in boston may be ok, but every other part of the chain sucks. those idiots usually have no clue what they are talking about. a little girl i babysit just got her first set-up and it is from the ski market. they set her up with 110cm poles. she's only nine and about 4'2'.

'The ski shop' in framingham is really good. The guys there are super nice and will usually help you out on prices. They have the best tune in the country if you don't feel like doing it yourself. If you don't believe me ask skier magazine. They sent all the demos the framingham before they got shipped to vail for testing, just to get tuned by their guy. Well now it sounds like i wanna have sex with the place, but, yeah its a quality shop without stupid people. They ski too, which i think helps.

i second that nhjibber

i also live real close to s&w sports in concord, s&w rocks, even the boarders are cool to me, and they have a lot of nice stuff, but not to many twins yet, line darksides, 1260s, skogens, 161 171 1080s, fs scratches, thats it

This subversive propaganda has been brought to you by The Republican Army.

i get tune ups and mounts at the Ski Market/Underground at Nashoba, cuz its free. i know the ppl there (+ my sister) and they r nice. any jump or rail at nashoba was because of them, even though its not much. for buying merchandise, none other than pro-form. but if i had (which i did) i buy at Ken Jones in Nashua. nice ppl there, just knock off money. got 60 bucks off my skis last year. and i got 20 bucks off of some 1080 boots that were already on double sale, i got em for 275. thats only 10 more than pro-form and i didn't have to wait 8-10 days.

Ski Stop in westwood is really good, the guy that owns it, Phil, knows more about skiing than i could learn in a dozen life times. and i work there so i know they do a good job

hey i go to the ski stop in westwood too. he is a pretty cool guy. they loved it when i brought my scratches to have them mounted there. i guess they had never seen scratches before and got a kick outta them

sportworks ski shop, duxbury ma. south shore what. armada skis are coming next year, confirmed the order yesterday. orage clothing was confirmed yesterday too. yeah.

-Pat-

'hey when are you guys gonna start using snowlerblades to go around those faggot gates!?' -philou after seeing a guy on 158cm race skis

Freds Freeride in Killington. best fucking shop. Also Northern Ski works will tune ur skis up pretty well.

Hoked on foniks wurked fur me. kant u tel?

theres a new place that is seasonal in danvers called ski shop north, the guys there are wicked chill and if you offer them a reasonable price, theres a good chance they'll give it to you, they tune like mother fuckers too, never had better edges

Just a sidenote, a couple guys went out to CO and came back to work in a friend's shop. It's Ski Haus right off of exit 38 on 93. Skier owned/ran and these guys are in it for the love, not a job.

NOT joe jones, those places suck nuts

it's all about lahout's in lincoln, nh...they know me there cause i'm in there with broken skiis every other week or so

-J. KIESEL

Ken Jones in Manchester is gonna be nice next year. They are gonna have a big selection of newschool clothes and skis. I ski with the guy buying the stuff for the shop and theyll have it all. check it out!

Ski Haus in Salem, NH is good. For killer tunes delivered same day Waites in Concord, NH.

May the seed of your loins be fruitful in the belly of a lamb...
