Aight, I already posted this in the regional forums, and I won't get any replies before I need them, so don't bitch about me posting this in SG.

Anyways, I'm goin to Minneapolis(Edina/lake harriet/near the airport area) on saturday, and I will only have about 2 hours to look for some stuff at ski shops. But, Can anyone tell me the best shops somewhat close to the area I mentioned above? Particularlly ones that have either really good deals on stuff like ski movies and googles, or that carry armada, 4FRNT, and or line. Thanks.

GLX in burnsville is alright, they sold out of all the new armadas but they still got 4-frnt and k2. also alot of gear for skiing and boarding with a sweet tv that plays ski movies non-stop. just ask someone where Buck Hill is cause it's right next to it.

pinewskis is to far away though isn't it? i drove almost two hours to get there so i could get my armadas

Driving. I fly up, and my parents will be there with their car. Thanks for the info. I know where Buck hill is, I drove right past it on I 35. That place looks so cool.

haha, it just looks cool because it's a ski hill right in the middle of all the neighborhood in suburbia next to an interstate. I just see a lot of that stuff since I live in Atlanta. I just think it's kinda cool that you can have a ski hill within 5 minutes of where you live, regardless to the size of it.

Ok, point taken.

I just grew up skiing there and it's not too hot compared to the Mountains out west. Especially when you consider that it costs the same amount to ski Buck and Hylands as it does to ski Whistler...but whatever, you're right it's nice to be able to ski 5-10 minutes from your house.

what about......

ummmmmmmmmm..........

i know i remember one...

Hoigards!!!

no that´s already been said

what´s that one

you know .. not quite in town, but its there

Peirce Skate and Ski!

ok there ya goo

hoigaards has some stuff. We have deals on last year's stuff, and we have new k2 and salomon. The rest is on the way. I work there, so if any of you stop in ask for max in downhill. I'll be working hopefully a bunch this winter.
