so im new to the area... whats good for ski shops in burlington, because i need to get some new gear and would rather not buy it online

burlington vt - Ski Rack, right downtown

South Burlington - Alpine Shop

Essex - Peter Glenn, right in the outlets

You Can also hit up Stowe, Sugarbush, Smuggs mtn roads for some ski stores, especially Stowe.

the man knows his shit.. thats a pretty complete list, if you wanna travel a little more, come to the mad river valley where sugarbush/ madriver glenn are, theres like 4 good shops in waitsfeild / warren, its like an hour away from burlington tho.

middlebury has an alpine shop too

Anyway, a gas station we pass. We got gas, and ran off to get grub.It was a nice little pub in the middle on nowhere. Anywhere woulda been better. I ordered enchiladas and I ate 'em, Ali had the fruit punch.

 
The Alpine Shop is probably the most newschool oriented and the most fun to look around. The Ski Rack usually has the best deals around. There are also a bunch of ski swaps coming up in a month or so at the ski rack as well as various high schools

802 action sports on main street in burlington might possibly be starting selling shit too, they just opened up like 2 months ago. ive talked with some people from there and theyve been checking into starting to sell some skiing shit and maybe possibly supporting some local skiers. the shop is pretty much a technine shop since technine is right nad town and they have some connections with them. so go in there, strike up a chill conversation with the guys/girls there and see what happens

ski rack and alpine shop suck, youd be better off driving to stowe and going to skier shop, say ur a local and they will give you a discount as well
