Ski Shops in Boston.

I know it is kind of a joke, but I have to poll newschoolers for the best shop to at least check out gear in person at, maybe a reliable bootfitter and a solid repair shop? Is there a one stop spot? I am just tired of drooling over online pictures of the goods. I am in Medford, so south of Boston is kind of annoying to get to, but all input would be legit. Thanks.

the ski house, in somerset, ma is pretty legit..about 45 min south of boston...check it out it's worth the time.

lahouts, which I don't know how to spell, in lincoln, NH is dope. Summit in framingham, ma was dope but last time I went there they were getting noticeably gayer so I'm confident by now they are full-on-ski-market type gay like most shops in mass.

but speaking of that, ski market was where I always went to try on boots then buy online cause I felt the least bad wasting their time.

Thanks for all the input. Anybody been to the wilderness house since it was bought out? Is it super lame?

Why can't there be a sick shop in the city? I'll drive if I need to. I'm from NH, so checking out some of those shops shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

I'll have to check out the ski stop in Westwood. I wish there was a Full Tilt Dealer in MA, I need to try on some of those boots.

they dont have a huge selection, they have dalbellos tho....similar to full tilts. but they are the bomb at boot fitting. they know what they are talking about. they are the only shop in ma that are apart of the americas best bootfitters. if you want boots fitted during the week you need an appointmetn...weekends are first come first serve. only experinces boot fitters do boots. they have all taken classes and been doing it fro years. there are 4 bootfitters so sometimes you have to wait on the weekends....but its worth it. they can fit any foot!!!! and they know how to fit for the park and give you exactly what you want.
