SKi shop mounted my bindings on facing each other.

My local ski shop actually mounted my new Race Tigers with the toe and heel piece facing each other. By this i mean where you put your toe in is facing towards the tip, and where you click your heel down is facing towards the tails

how expensive will it be to fix this?

can i do it by myself without having to go back to the shop?

go back and ask for the owner of the shop or what ever. just show him the skis and your receipt and take it from there. theres no way hes going to do nothing about it unless hes as much of a retard as the guy who mounted you skis

go to the shop and bitch they should hook you up with free swag and a

remount or if your lucky new skis. may i ask how you didnt notice this

when you first saw your skis?

please take some pics and post em up....i really wanna see this

Please do, I'm quite curious as to how that looks.

But seriously, do these people look at their work when they have finished, how the hell do you not notice something that obvious.

remount? dude, i forget if you said the skis were new or not but that warrants replacement skis if they were, and free service for the season including grinds etc if they weren't. it's one thing to drill the wrong holes and mount over it, but you can't reuse those holes period since they are facing the wrong direction. take what they give you and never go back.

Why did you leave the ski shop with the skis in that condition in the first place? but definitely take them back and don't leave until at the very least they have remounted them, and given you some free stuff. Ideally they would replace them, because that's a pretty ridiculous screw up.

Please post a picture. I'm sorry that you had the misfortune of being on the receiving end of such a big fuck up...butttt I'd love to lmao at a picture of that.

Take them back to the shop, ask for your money back on the mount, if you bought the setup there ask for 100% of your money back and go somewhere else. I would never let a shop that fucked up that bad touch a piece of gear I own. It also means the tech didn't test the mount, so if he wrote on the sheet he did test he's setting himself and the shop up for a ton of shit. That is just straight up ignorange

how is it possible to mount a pair of skis that bad, wouldnt it be obvious the boot can't click in? definitely get your money back and take them somewhere else.

i feel like you would have to be legally retarded to do something like this. i mean its almost not even funny...

was it like a practical joke? cuz i really dont think that doing something like that is possible

lol def go back there and ask for your money back and have them fix it, i got my skis mounted at rei like 3 years ago and they drilled through my skis, went in there and bitched at them, mounting was free and got $150 gift card there

This.

How can you fuck up that much? 100% refund or SUE them. hahaha! We had people sueing us for less at our shop when we haven't even fuck shit..

dam!! someone always beats me too it haha. and seriously you gotta be fricken retarded not to point that out at the shop. plus how unlegit of a shop to do that.

ya we need a pic, did the guy not even test a boot, and just figure that nobody will notice? This is one of those moments you just sit back in awww at the stupidity of people.

you need pics. I really dont believe someone could be dumb enough to do that. but this picture would be hilarious

what binding? some bindings have a heel mount that is perfectly rectangular, and that means all you have to do is unscrew, turn around, and re-glue the holes and stick is back in. This would make the most sense of how this happened since shops use mounting templates and on occasion pay no attention to what they are doing. I think this happened to someone on TGR a bit back, and he just turned it around and re-glued it. Still take it to the shop since they have the right glue.

Bahahaha race tigers are race skis, they will almost certainly be fine for a remount, because they're probably on a plate. Shouldn't hurt the skis at all.
Take em back to the shop and ask them for a remount.

wait so you picked up your skis and walked out without noticing this? bahaha. this is the most fucked up shitty mount story ever.

surely they'll fix it for you, there's no way they can mess up that bad and not do anything about it

Exactly what I was thinking. I would definitely ask how he managed to test those, call him out. That is BS and dangerous.

isnt the race tiger a system ski, if so, your pretty lucky. It wont take long to fix at all. Just slide them off and put them back on how they should be

guess i just had some faith in ns'ers
