Ski Season is right around the corner and im STOKED

ya the title says it all....i just got Skiing's Gear Guide in the mail and was soooo excited...i think ive already read the thing cover to cover. This seasons skis look sick and i really like the way the mag had a bunch of questions and a chart that mapped out what kind of ski fits the type of skiing your interested in...

yet i havent seen freeskier's yet, if anyone has any info on that or any additional comments regarding other mags or the coming season post here. :-D

personally i trust skiings gear guide more than freeskiers.
they cover all their skis in white tape so the testers can't see the topsheet, which sounds pretty smart.
 
Good idea, but I wonder how well that works. I guess it depends on the ski.

Either way I think magazine gear guides are garbage and skiing's was no different. I flipped to tyheir powder-only section and they didnt even bother rating the hellbents or the EP Pros lmao~
 
i can't wait

PA starts kicking up in late january

but i trip out to tahoe in late feb or early march

that is what keeps my stoked

It snowed on me when I was backpacking a week ago. I'm pretty stoked but I won't get really excited until I get my ski movies. Then I will fucking LOSE MY MIND.
 
umm dude its still summer... here in MN its gonna be in the 90s the next few days.
and most high schools havent even started.
i still got a good 2 or 2.5 months till skiing
