Ski Roundtop vs Bear Creek?

Which one is better strictly for park as far as number of features, quality of features etc. It also seems like bear creek is filled with snowboarders where roundtop has about an equal amount. Anyone have a suggestion?

Never been to round top, but bear creek has nice rails and jumps are okay.

Thanks, are there a decent amount of features in one run? and is the chair up to the park extremely slow?

You can get around 6-9 rail features in one run, or around 4 if you go into a jump line. And the chairlifts aren't high speed quads, so it's not that fast, only about 2-3 min.

I like bear more than round top. Then again, I live closer to bear so that might be why. They have 2 parks... one focuses more on rails and the other more on jumps. both are good for the price... overall I like Big Boulder the most for park.

hey thats me haha. even though bears my home mountain i can honestly vouch that they have some of the best rails in the east. they always slide well and are designed better than most around here. they lack on the jump/speed for jumps side of things but every once and a while they'll put up a real nice jump. i have never been to round top but i hear its fun and i'm trying to get there a few times this season. by the looks of rt's edits bear has more jumps than them on a regular basis. the quad isnt slow because its fairly new and they will run one of them faster than the other on weekends to accommodate both park shredders and gapers which is nice.

Thanks this helps a lot, and you rip! and yeah not trying to bash roundtop but their jumps are sub-par, or at least from my few experiences. The couple times I went there they were so steep it pretty much made backflips easier than straight airs. Their rails are pretty nice though, and they have a lot of features for how small the mountain is
