Ski Roundtop hype...

Obviously the people at ski roundtop have never heard of mountain creek because the parks at Mountain Creek make roundtop look rediculous!

 
yeah very good point.. i think they are talking in the PA area though. There isnt much competition in PA.. maybe Blue mnt or Big Boulder... but i think roundtop pretty much holds it down in pA

oh hell no BEAR CREEK, its a jib mecca i think, not huge but hey you cant beat 24 rails and some nice hits including the end of the year special 50-70 fter from last year

 
where is bear creek anyways? i might make a trip up there if they are close. All of the four sisters mountains are overrated. Whitetail is the worst at overraitng their features

i haven't seen a park in Pa that would come close to what bear creek has but mt creek is still the best in a close vacinity to everyone in this forum

 
i ski roundtop when im at college, but when im home im up at okemo/stratton all the time, RT is pretty good now and i love it, but they definitly are hyping themselves way too much, anyone who says there pipe last year was good must not have riden a good pipe ever, RT is awesome now compared to like 2 years ago, i remember them saying skiers couldnt use poles in the halfpipe and half the skiers at RT followed that rule which i couldnt believe, RT is awesome and a great scene of skiers has developed there, but they definitly need to chill on the hype

 
In addition i will say RT has the coolest core skier crew i have seen at any mountain though, everyone there is stepping up their skills like you wouldnt believe!

 
bear creek best hands down , blue -horrible boulder-decent frost-decent camel-no comment ( that bad ) roundtop never been but heard decent to good and nothin else is worth mentioning....in pa of course

mt creek is simply on a whole nother level.

Man this is so depressing to hear...I ride 7springs and we were stoked last year on like 10 jibs(four of which were decent). Our mountain should be so much sicker but the owners wont let any park progression happen

yeah josh. jon's right though, seven springs has soo much potential for a better park. its just not happening

bear creek, mountain creek, jack frost, my top choices for local ripping!!!!! lets face it though, You have to deal wit what you got and make the best out of it! i mean seriously, no matter what ur home mountain be, its gunna rock to you! be proud of ur home place and push progression and maybe every where can be said to be as good as the ones i listed!

 
sometimes you just have to make a huge f****** booter and have ski patrol rip you pass to get your point across. if you have to be an ass about it, by all means do so.

this coming from the resident ski patroller. your lucky you dont patrol at blue mountain or i would automatically hate you for ruining all possible fun

 
nah man, i think ya took it the wrong way. possible my wording sucked. i meant ya gotta build jumps and do crazy shit to shake stuff up a bit and piss people off. i'm all for putting somethin on the patrol test like if you cant hit that 40 foot rail no dice

I back up tyler!!!!! hes the only patroller i know whos tempted to do flips on patrol lol!!!! one of these days i know it will happen, but hes one of the few good patrolers, a park riders friend
