Ski Resort w the worst/longest lift line is....

Big Sky/Moonlight....don't ever come here...

And to the guy that said breck is the best ski area and all the best spots have lines...hahahahaha

I refuse to ski any Summit County resort due to lift lines. Not only are Brecks lines stupid long but the place seems super windy all the time. Past week I skied powder all day at Grand Targhee & every run was straight onto lift with no waiting.

St. Anton, Austria, or most other major european ski resorts for that matter. mainly because the europeans have no idea about the basic workings of a que and the liftys are too shit to do anything about controlling one either, they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery!

Perfect North. On a day over Christmas break all the lines were at least a 20-30min wait. And that was just to ski for about 2 minutes and than go wait in line all over again. This happens decently often too.

Nah.

It can get bad.

The worse is when it's Alberta Family day long weekend. We'd always avoid that weekend.

It can get long, but, just stay in the top bowls if you want, or cruise and explore.

I've never found it that bad.

Probably doesn't compare to any of these lines, but Tremblant had an awful lift line at the triple chair all Christmas easily 30+ minutes to get onto the chair.

Last year at the end of spring break the line was so big on a pow day it wrapped around the corner of the cattrack to get there thats how big it was and luckily i was in the first 10 to get back there

Breck over Dew Tour was crazy, the lifty said they carry about 40,000 people on the fastest chair an hour..... might be wrong.

Might be a bit of a stretch. If they had a 10seater leaving every single second in the hour itd still be under 40k. Maybe theyre talking about the whole mtn?

this thread is depressing as hell haha. my home hill is a tow rope accessed park... never a line. and my transplant "home" mountain of big sky isn't bad at all. longest i've stood in was a 50 min tram line one time on a weekend pow day. and it was completely worth it.

not even 2 minutes dude. Barely 400 feet of vertical.

A saturday on Christmas break makes you hate your life. You wait 30 minutes, EASY. And only to ski hardpack 100% manmade snow/ice.

When alpine isnt open at whistler the emera;d chair get busy, and also when people are waiting for peak chair to open up, and blue mountain (soo many asains)

I know this isn't bad, but at Tremblant, the gondola gets a huge line when the chair next to it boys almost none, and since the gondola goes to the top, people don't realize that it's faster to just take the two separate chairs up to the top, this is on Ontario march break.

Definitely not Revelstoke, BC... just got back and skied onto every lift on a Saturday, that was blue bird with scraps of POW everywhere. Move to interior BC and you will never complain. It is so remote.

Worst line I have ever sat in was the gondola at Tremblant and it was around 30 mins.
If there is ever a line at my home mountain I just snake or take singles.
