Ski Resort w the worst/longest lift line is....

Squaw is absolutely unbelievable on weekend powder days. Hour long lift lines everywhere. KT can get north of an hour. Vail is pretty bad as well.

This happened last year in Niseko when this was the only chair open. It's probably about 100m of vert.

Wintergreen VA haha east coast lines are crazy we have 5 lifts it gets real crowded I have a question in April should I go to Breckinridge or keystone I'm looking for a better park

those indeed can be bad, but nothing compared to the crappy beginner slope lift at Massanutten on a bad day :) Yeah virginia.

had some over an hour days at both sunday river and sugarloaf. holiday weekends with powder and windhold=terrible lift lines

Yeh, in my season there the line never got out of the general area for lines. There are pics here of lines going up slopes.

Ive spent an hour+ at Killington before but the longest I ever saw was Heavenly on a Saturday afternoon.

i had not one bit of trouble at vail. but i was in the backbowls the whole time.

and i would say breck

not the "longest", but back in Ontario I've had 45min lift lines at Blue Mountain some weekends which is saying something because it was for a 6 man chairlift where it takes 2min to get up the hill and 1min to get down.

That's a lot of down time in a day.

the bowl lines at vail can get ridiculous come late morning when everyone starts to filter back.
breck is nuts if you don't know where to be and when.

Bahahahaha I was at this hill called Uplands in Ontario... No park, 80 feet of vert (top to bottom in 19 seconds) and the liftlines were 30 minutes... Yeah, I just hiked to the top.

mountain creek NJ. one resort for the entire state and NYC. things get hairy on any day of the week

I've seen a 1:15 hour wait at blue hills in MA. I took the lift once that day and spent the rest hiking then park

Yup. A couple years ago before they got a new skye peak quad chair it was pretty routine to wait 30+ minutes in line, not to mention you spent about 15 minutes on the lift, which now is about 5.

to everyone thats saying Breck, thats b.s. I was just there for a week and the lines were nothing compared to the lines at Sugarloaf. This is the line I waited in two weekends ago, its so long that you can't even see the lift.

the thing is, as huge as these pictures seem, its really only one line of people. remember that breck has several lanes that all funnel down to the actual lift.

when i was at breck later in the day i was at peak 10 and i had less than a 10 min wait if that. and that was during like 2-4 pm

but when i want to peak 6 and 7 is was soooooo fucking packed

Breck on the weekends. I hate it cause the park is on peak 8 and that also happens to be where schoolmarm is

i am by no means a local ive only skiied whistler four times, but it was over winter break. i was expecting the worst, but i never had to wait for more then five to ten mintues. there was also decent snow, but not an epic pow day. ive had worse lines at my own home mountains

Damn, I heard about that the other day. Superquad can get pretty big, but I have never seen it that big.

There's actually big lines at CB now cuz of all the damn texans are here for break this week.
