Ski recommendation playful All Mountain ski

Hey, I am an intermediate skier who used to ski on piste for all his life in the european alps (austria). Now I want to start shifting towards freeriding and some backcountry touring while still being able to hit the piste from time to time. I always liked to stick to the sides of the piste, go through tree lines and do some jumps, 360, butters - so nothing that advanced-.

The ski should be rather light, has a good flex/softness and should be capable to ride in avg. european powder. Since I am a student and cant buy multiple pairs of skis so I want one that can do it all but is more on the playful side even if it has a bit less stability. I am 192cm, 75kg.

I was looking into Line Sir Francis Bacon, Bent Chetler 100, K2 Reckoner.

Would be nice of you if u could nail me down on 1 of those 3 or give an alternative option if they all suck.

I only demoed the Reckoners for a half day but I thought they were a little too flexy to be 1 quiver skis. They would do a lot of what you want but IMO powder days would be more fun with something a little stiffer. Bent Chetlers are the basic bitch option.

Given where you live like at Voelkl Revolts too, maybe the 105ish width.

That said if you find that magical all mountain unicorn ski, please do let us all know.

The 190 cm SFB seems the best of the ones you mentioned. I'd also check out the 188 cm Armada ARW 106 UL. I do agree that the 188 cm Volkl Revolt 104 could work, too. I wouldn't get the Bent 100, but the 188 cm Bent 110 could work. Check out the "All-Mountain Freestyle" section of the Blister Winter Buyer's Guide for more optionshttps://blisterreview.com/winter-buyers-guide

Ty, ive heard good things about the Aramada and Volkl too, with the BC110 im a bit worried that it might be too wide and has a really hard day on groomers for a a ski quiver in europe, what do you think?

It's a bit less practical than the other options you brought up and definitely less precise than the Bent 100. But it's not super far off from the SFB.

The Big Horn makes the whole mountain your playground. They designed a new layup for the Big Horn with Freeride World Tour Champion Isaac Freeland that preserves its playful nature while improving its ability to hold up to the highest speeds and largest airs on the mountain. What they developed is the perfect balance between the confidence to shred anything and the playfulness to jib to your heart's content. Available in 96, 106, and 114mm widths the Big Horn has a full poplar wood core with layers of biaxial carbon fiber wrapped in vibration dampening rubber sandwiching the core.

Fauna Pioneer is made for almost exactly what you’re talking about.

I’ve got a pair in 184 and love them.

SFB might be fun too or something from season

can someone tell me why there are so many trolls here? Was this already asked that often or are the properties I mentioned contradicting?

It's part of the culture. Gotta learn to filter through the sarcasm
