k, I don't understand why the skis cost so much, sure the machinery is expensive but what about companies like salomon who have long paid for machinery, $600 for a pair of boards seems like a pretty big rip off. Please someone enlighten me before I go rob t and l.

supply and demand. When people stop buying there skis the price will go up. The more people that buy them the higher the price.

just be thankful you're living the US and not in australia. We have to pay litterally twice the price for the same set of skis!! Sure it may be twice as expensive because of the conversion but we're not getting paid twice our salary

Salomon and rossignol are the highest skis in demand, they can do whatever the fuck they want with ski prices so long as they do it together

Pe's are like $350 i beleive, give or take a few dollars depending is your shop rips u. now for a brand new sweet ski that is a right price k2 has it right at that price, kinda like the price of a snowboard or something, and they cost alot less than most skis, freaking 1grand setups for skis sometimes, no way i say.
