Ski porn review.

wow...if it wasnt for pep, chris and andy, skiing would be the most ridiculously gayest shit out. Those guys are keepin skiing bareable from all you stupid rollblading eastcoasters...everyone who is saying anything bad about this movie and anyone in it should go shove a copy of LSS up their ass...while your at it do the same with bermans interlaced footage and his camera JIB. because the east coast and everyone from thoier sucks and always will.
 
All in all the movie was good. Like what was said previously, typical poorboyz movie.

I don't know why everyone was hatin' on the music. Sammy's segment with "out of the box" was so ill, I had to watch it many times over.

Tj Schiller's part was increadible same with Mahre's although it was too short for my liking. Julien Reigner's segment was intended to be a joke- I think...

The rest of the skiers, Pep, Jp, Jon and Candid had solid parts, Pep's being exponentially better than last year's in War.

Again, I thought the movie was amazing. Can't wait for the rest of 'em.
 
so simon, jp, and everyone else from the east sucks? Sorry to tell you but sure we dont have the best mtns around but we get by and have some of the best riders around. Just because we cant ride pow all the time doesnt mean anything.

i received my copy last week. this is the first ski movie i've ever seen aside from w. millers films. it seems most people think his movies suck. maybe im just too old or un-steezy, i think the warrens ive seen are better than ski porn. i thought ski porn was ok, but im at the point that if you've seen one 19 year old throwing a 5, 7, etc you've seen them all. to that end the movie was like porn. just tricks thrown together. the movie had no soul, no story (even occasion banter from the athletes is decent in ski film- the JP stuff was the best & seth's segments should of been waaay expanded, simon's were disappointing cause we know how capable he is of going off the chart). i think im gonna try the TGR camp, the big mountain shit is more to my liking anyway. the tangerine dream trailer always resonated with me. just my opinion.

I tok my Xanax directly after making that comment..oh and also i would like to add i dont hate you berman or level 1 for that matter infatc i enjoy your movies i thought the shanghai intro was fantastic...hoever i also enjoy the reactions of NS kids when you hate on things they like..sorry im kinda sacrificing kinda like cutting off you own nose to spite somone...yeah but its hilarious so keep being yourselves east coast kids you bring me and 1000's of others hours of entertainment..oh adn add i will be purchasing LSS so whether or not i diss on it you will still be gettin you bank from me...
 
it was a let down after war, but was still a pretty good movie. it needed to be watched more that once to reall enjoy it. andres hatviet part was like that!, and peter olenik was killin it. nothing else really stood out. the editing was alot like teddy bear crisis, and it was less fun and more serious than war. the soundtrack also did me no justice, except for swollen members. up 1.2.1 was much bettter i think, just cuz it was fun to watch.
 
sorry they didn't load up in our chevrolet tahoe or whatever the fuck they drive and head over to chili to sample the country life and get some nice, clean cuts in.
 
The soundtrack wsnt awful, but it wasnt really my taste. I liked andy's song. And I thought the songs for JP werent songs I would listen to on my own but really worked well. I have to say I was a little disappointed with peps part. It was soo short and there were only a few shots taht really blew me away. Andy on the other hand...holy shit those last two shots were so ridiculous! the whole seg was really, but those last two shots I had to rewind a few times to understand that my eyes were not lying to me
 
andy's segment was mind blowing. his control of every aspect of skiing is a skill that is encompassed in no other skier, save maybe pep
 
ski porn=lame music, and sick skiing... i cant understand why decesare put so lame music in it... ski porn should have more funky shit, maybe some 70`s and 80`s... Mind the gap was nice, and pete olenick has a pimp seg...

i thought it was one of those movies that the more u watch it the better it seems to get, like the first time i saw it i was like "what ever" then the second time i thought it was rad but i thought andys and chris's segments lacked compared to last years

I liked this movie. I'm so sick of people complaining about how ski movies need to show more of a story or whatever. You are watching a fucking ski movie, it isn't supposed to change the way you look at life. All I want from a ski movie is for it to get me psyched on skiing and show me a couple things to try this season. If you still want a movie with a plot that shows the "soul" of skiing, go watch immersion and you will realize that some parts of skiing are best left unsaid. If you want to experience the soul of skiing, get of your couch and go find some snow.

Ski Porn got me unstoked on skiing if anything, it was worse than I was expecting. Montreal by Sunset Films on the other hand, is one of the best movies I have ever seen, I highly reccomend everyone watches it.
 
Shitty, icy conditions on east coast= core skiers that can rip up anything and aren't afraid of crappy snow and weather. The racers here are probably steezier than you, just from watching because our park scene is so huge. So shut up.
