Ski porn, Push, or Long Story Short

in general, which would dbe the best to purchase? which one has the most big mountain? the most park/pipe? urban?
 
almost everyone is going to say long story short, honistly half this site is or is waiting patiently in line to suck level one's cock.

actually, that's not true. it's pretty comparable to lss.
 
i saw push and that was pretty sick, i really liked how much big mountain they had. and the shots in that movie are pretty sick
 
Man long story short was sick. ski porn was kinda blah, I mean sick stuff an all, but in general Id just watch war again.
 
um...pretty sure the answer here is obvious...SKIMATIC. you want big mountain parts that don't drag on for seemingly hours (coughMSPcoughRagecough)...woody bouma. urban - jf houle, frank raymond...both RIDICULOUS, small jumps if any, creative techy tricks. pipe...laurent favre, enough said. buy this movie.

 
lss is really well put together. the soundtrack isnt too original. the riding is sick... the urban really original and the BC... its damn good but you can tell its got an east coast origin... but i swear, id buy it just for the intro and the rider intros... theyre fucking amazing.
 
lss or push. I found skiporn rather boring. it has sick skiing, but doesn't flow really well. lss is my favourite, such creative editing and excellent skiing. push has eric pollard, so it good anyways. aslo the other parts are really good.
 
the best movie is by far LSS, but if you have wnough budget buy all of them. If you have to choose there is no question
 
the good thing about buying ski porn is you get a pretty good movie and you get U.P. 1.2.1, thats a two-fer
 
They're all sick. LSS I was kinda dissapointed. Push has some sick segments (Sammy, Simon, and Pollard). But overall I liked Ski Porn.
 
Yeah, almost everyone on here decided LSS was the best movie they had ever seen before it even was released. Im going to get bashed so badly but fuck it, Push was my favorite this year. Im yet to see skimatic and photoplay, and im sure i will, but so far I liked Push, then Ski Porn, then LSS. The music in LSS brings it way down for me, however i seem to be one of the only people on here who doesnt hate rock...
 
I bought long story short.......

And I never thought it was that amazing or great at all. I was kind of bored of it by the end. Too repetitive, didn't like the music at all. Nothing amazing about the editing. I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

Even though i said "I never thought it was that amazing or great at all", it still had some retarded highlights in it. Crazy urbans and some sick park stuff. Everything else was old news.
 
LSS is just like fucking sick and original

Push is meh, I love Bishfield and Abma so I went to the show to support em, but the rest was average

Most people on here will say never buy a MSP movie because a) it's trendy to be against MSP, b) it has more big mountain than urban jibbing and c) everyone gets a boner for L1p...

It's up to you and what you prefer. L1p is repetetive because its too much urban with some back country booters (except theyre all the same jumps), MSP is a lot of big mountain with a faaaaiiirr to small amount of BC booters, however you can tell they have the biggest budget by far, and PBP has a somewhat happy medium, but Ski Porn isnt the best that PBP has done...
 
dude, LSS is all about handrails and big mountain...but instead of skiing big mountains they just hit more handrails. they even went to japan to ski more handrails. if you like handrails buy this movie, if you like gay porn buy good will humping.
 
Say what you will about it being "COOL" to not like MSP films, but PUSH is just flat out BORING.  Matchstick's films have gotten less and less exciting since Focused.  Sure, they have a huge budget, amazing cinematography, and great riders, but the concept just isn't that interesting.

As for boner for L1P, I got wood for Long Story Short.  If you like creativity and amazing editing, how can you not like Level One?  Plus, Berman and Freedle are cool ass guys, and they always showcase the up-and-comers as opposed to the same old tired riders.
 
get photoplay or mind the gap...whatever you do dont get show and prove. worst excuse for a ski movie i have ever seen
 
lss if u like the typical berman, ski porn if u like better shots and the typical johnny. no never buy push ever.
 
Now a few months after my statement above, and I stand by what I said. I have watched LSS Photo play, ski porn, anomaly, Show and prove, and Courdory. LSS was meh, not good not bad, but a huge dissapointment, some of the song choces really sucked, forinstance the streetlife song at the start of the movie was so bad that I almost turned the movie off there. Also did not flow from segment to segment. Highlights were the rails, Stefan Thomas, Cory Vanular and Laim Downy. Drawbacks were: music choice, Flow, seeing the same 10 rails again and again and again, and seeing the same jumps again and again and again. tootal I think there were 20 different rails in that movie and when that takes up 60% of the total runing time they get repetitive. SkiPorn, had good segments and was an overall better movie then LSS, but still lacked flow and had some not so good songs in it (still overall better the LSS) worth getting for Andy's Part. Photo play was the best movie this far, then anomaly, then Ski Porn or Courd. then LSS then show and prove.
