Ski poles...

cheap ones so when you snap the next set you arent breaking the bank. i usually just go to REI or another big store and find the cheapest poles i can that are decently comfy, mostly because i break a lot of poles.

also, searchbar. im fairly sure threads like this have been made before.

These should do the trick...

But seriously... any poles will work. I just use whatever is laying around as long as they aren't too big. Just find a cheap pair because poles bend and break pretty easily in the park.

another reason cheap poles are good are because they tend to bend rather than break. although that might seem bad in a way because they bend easily you can always bend them back. a material that bends can absorb more energy and outlast a brittle material, take it from an engineer.

the new line poles look pretty legit but if ur really tryin to save just go to a local tree and snap a couple of branches off and trimm em to the same length thats what i rocked when i broke my old scotts cause i cant really stand no poles. and who ever said money doesnt grow on trees.

garage sales are good to scope too. you can get a pair of poles for 3-4 bucks that way

somthing thing you should know about poles A Armadas has the best poles the first ones you by will be like 90$ it's a lot I know but the handul and the baskit pop off when the pole breaks then you get a shaft for 10 dollors so after the 90 $ you can spend 10$ the rest of your life on poles also if the pole bends make sure you put a hair dryer to the pole to warm it up first if you bend it while it's cold the pole will snap.

the Scott Riot line is good. but instead of spending 80+ bucks on 1 pair of poles spend 20 on a cheap pair

Everything that I have seen is that the Armada poles are crap, the bend and snap just as easily as a shitty $20 pole. All they are is thin aluminum. Best poles I have used are either Swix race series poles, or any of the scott team/race poles. They cost $ but they will last you.

Best poles I've ever had were Dynamic optimas. They were flexible enough to not break when I would land on them. One poles demise came when it had an unfourtunate run-in with the ground, the chair on the lift, and my jacket. It snapped in half. But the survivor is still going strong after two seasons.

i spent 5.95 on a used pair that have been so completely bombproof.

then i got a pair of rentals, and painted em up, so now i have a spare

I never spend more than $20-$30 on poles. I've broken poles in the stupidest ways, and I would want to kill somebody if I was losing $90 because I fell or something.

Mis-matched. I snapped one pole of a $20 pair of swix poles last year, so I use that one and the dynamic for a while, than my ski went under a butterbox and I landed on the surviving swix, bending it to the point where I couldn't bend it back. Then I took one of my moms $20 new scott poles, and I've beat the shit out of it. Its bent in a helix pattern.
