Ski pole sizing

yeah, some people like maaaad short poles. personally, i find pole planting is key when you're rippin thru fresh powpow. depends on your tastes, homie.

and yeah, hold your hand under the basket and make a right angle with your arm. i'm 5'11 and i use a 125cm, so you can gauge it from there if ya likes.

you want the middle of the grip to be more or less even with the top buckle of your boot. That way you can pole plant with steeze.

yea man if you hold the pole upside down under the basket and your arm is at a right angle its the right size, but for park poles il like em smaller

That's the general guide but some people like them longer or shorter. I should be a 135cm using that rule but I now use 130s and much prefer the length. Buy them long if you're not sure and you can always cut them down.

I don't have the inches or cm's off the top of my head...but the poles I use for park/all mountain are relatively short(or non-exsistent) but tree and powder poles are a few inches longer...

just do whatever you want. my poles are really small. i like them small so theres less chance that i get stabbed by them and its less to worry about
