Ski Pole size

I'm getting k2 V4 poles and I need to know what size I should get,I will be skiing 70% Park 30% All mountain so I dont want super short poles but I dont want them to be big and awkward in the park.according to the size chart i should get 48 inch poles and im 5'8"and growing.Would 46" be better or should i go for the 48"

Those charts always recommend poles that are a bit too long for most park skiers. I'm 5'10" and I got 45" poles and I don't ski park too much. If I were you, I'd get like 44" or 43" poles.

buy bigger worst comes to worse you can always cut them down.

well lets see... put on your skis, or stand on two by fours to mimic ski+binding height, then measure to your knees. That is the necessary height to make poles completely ineffective so you can be just like a skier without poles but moderately less homosexual. Its like the snowblades of poles
