Two Planker Podcast guy deserves some hype

Its not The Bombhole but he is the only one hyped on ski culture and the people behind it

mad props

I kinda prefer Mayrand, he definitely seems more knowledgeable than the two planker guy. Said his fav video was on3p 3 and then didn't know who who jnilla was, even though he filmed and edited that video. I do like the two planker podcast, he definitely has some great guests (notable exception of Ankilla)

I also didn’t know about Pork Frat before interviewing Egg

Sometimes you gotta embrace being the idiot to discover new territory

Mayrand is significantly more knowledgeable than myself and I respect it tremendously

What happened to E Stone?

That’s what I’m wondering too, that’s a legend right there. his name isn’t in the podcast description anymore and I think he used to have “bombhole host” in his ig bio, so maybe he left? really hope all is well and that he is back soon, the energy between him and Chris was something really special

They're supposed to be at Windells Session 2.

Yeah really. It's one of my favorite podcasts. They did say in a story awhile ago they'll eventually explain what's going on.

For Skiing podcasts I liked the Hood week that [tag=179844]@TwoPlankerPod[/tag] did

Simon Dumonts podcast is really good. Recommend the episodes with Mike Douglas and Philou Poirier if you want to hear about the beginnings of freestyle skiing

Xavier for the industry knowledge and insights

Ethan for the best guests and funniest interactions

Both podcasts are great I listen to every single one in full when they drop

Why do you not like it?

The guests are great, but it seems like simon would much rather talk about himself than interviewing the actual guest. i tried to listen to a couple of them but had to turn it off after a while lol.

I remember a couple years ago level1 released a podcast called ‘another level’ and it was awesome. Connor smith is a great host and has some sick guests such as Johnny Decesare, a bunch of the strictly homies, Laura obermeyer, etc. it really makes you feel like you’re a fly on the wall while two friends talk ski movies and shit for a couple hours and the content is consistently as funny as it is insightful. Wish they were still releasing more episodes, I’ll happily edit the stuff if level1 needs a guy. Definitely give it a listen if you’re a fan of the other three

Shit was so terrible. It’s been dead for 2 years thank god.

Level 1's was the best by far. Their series on all the Level movies was just amazing behind the scenes stories. They had some of the best guests and relationships with them, and the most industry knowledge as well. Really wish they would release more episodes it was some of the best ski content out there.

Yeah that was definitely my fav ski podcast too. I think the podcast was something they started after the pandemic kicked off. They probably had more free time back then, but it would be really nice if they made some episodes

Hasn't he not done the pod in like 3 years?

Two Planker is a great podcast, I really like the guests, but as someone who likes nerding out on skiing, two planker isn't really it, as it is pretty obvious that his knowledge isn't as profound as Xavier with the Mayrand Podcast. I will say the two podcasts kind of complement each other, while Xavier goes for more "mainstream" guests but with very solid knowledge and nerding out on some aspects. I like the two podcasts I think they're great. My favorite episode of Mayrand Podcast was with Cam Riley, that episode was sick

Tried listening to an episode a couple years ago and the whole intro was him calling himself un-cancelable then went into an ad read for supplements.

How about uncancel the Dumont Cup and bring something to any conversation first

Havent listened to the powell movement in a while, is there some good recent episodes?

Simon has a great podcast, but i think OP just wants Skiing oriented pods. Simon is sorta jaded towards skiing which is super hard to relate to, but his episodes are full of great content, especially PRod
