Sugarbush, Okemo, Stratton, and Jay are the best mountains in Vermont. Killington is the biggest but the shittiest cuz its always icy as fuck there.

misty7- I go to school at UVM in burlington and its siiick. I had the most amazing winter this year, skiing 4 days a week. Even on a bad winter you get good pow days cause you can ski so much (if you set up your schedule to do so). The scene up here is pretty sick as well. With Burton and Line being based out of burlington there is a lot of industry support and sick riders around. Most people at UVM have stowe and or jay pass. I skied stowe all year and it was sick. Park is well maintained pipe is decent and the accessible terrain via hiking is incredible. Any questions let me know.

Jay is investing a lot in there park also. They said in 5 years from now they want to be known as having one of the best parks in the u.s, dont no how true the statment is, but The owner bill stanger did say that.

Even though Mad River Glen has no park, it gets a ton of snow and they don't groom the place. A plus is that they don't allow snowboarders

 
Mad River Glen has sick terrain, but the only lift to the top is a singles diesel powered chairlift. No snowboarders allowed at Mad river! But Jay peak is the shit

while you are at it check into cocran's ski area. it opens late and closes early but the terrain is sick, no snowmaking, its groomed witha snowmobile. the only lift is a rope tow. its really sick though it produces alot of top class athletes!
