From working in a terrain park for a couple years now I can safely say they are my biggest friend on the hill. They for sure have their place in the park, they make things go smoothly and safely.
That being said, p-fo is right for sure. Their attitude is def a reflection of the mountain in general.
Also just because they might have the same boss, don't think rangers/safety enforcers/whatever they are at your hill are on the same team. They can have conflicting interest, and will not always get along. Please do not put those guys in the same class as dedicated, professional patrollers.
Also S/O to the patrollers on NS! I know there are some and they deserve our thanks
