As predicted by Evan Dybvig- big air comps are becoming aerials with grabs. Doubles are stock tricks for almost everybody, little kids say that cork 9 blunts are the illest tricks, yet worship the people who are becoming aerialists.

I don't personally hate triples, but I can understand what you don't. Triple 1440 is mostly a competition trick, it's less common to see them in the everyday park. To some people they don't like the competition scene (tanner hall etc) and this isn't a bad thing, they just enjoy different aspects of freestyle skiing. Tripples aren't in that category. The bunch does not do triples, but still respected for their type of skiing. Similarly competition skiers don't do what the bunch does etc.

Maybe in 5 more years....

But for now:

Simon Dumont has completely disappeared, Tanner Hall bought a cat skiing op in BC and has a rolling paper sponsorship, the Bunch got mad inspired by B&E and are hugely popular with like slightly more than half of NS because they are interesting and creative but also slightly less than half the people hate them because they are weird and dont do actual tricks, Candide is still killing harder than everyone with the One of those days, the Slvsh cup is insane
