Ski near kansas city

I'm going to stay near kansas city for the next year with an exchange program. I just want to know if there are some places where I can ski or where there's a park. Thanks

I recromend downloading the liftopia app (www.liftopia.com), there's a feature where you can see resorts near you, their reviews, conditions, and you can get really good deals on lift tickets and lunch passes.

Googled, found Snow Creek. I didn't know there were any ski areas that far south in the midwest.

It is Kansas so its even if you do get a nice hill nearby it wont be open long. I would recommend if its possible where you are staying to make a summer ski setup.
