Ski Mt. Hood in May?

So me and my friends are mobbn down to hood on the 23rd and i'm wondering if i will be able to ski some park when i get down there. The Website is so complicated i figured one of you hood rats might know.

DO you guys know how much a ticket cost? cause in spring its like $38.00 and in summer its like $50.00 so which one will i pay.
also.. can't i just hike up to the park like at summer time?

52 bucks this year, yes you can hike.

38 yes. No hiking the park unless its on the mile. It might be difficult since there is a lot of snow up there.
