i cannot get stoked off a movie or a segment with a song i dont feel. RFA was an ok movie with a bad soundtrack, Anthonys seg in X is good but im not feeling the song so i dont watch it.

best song/seg is in high five and the outro...the song and the skiing are just so good...makes me want to get out there so bad

anyone else find this or find something else in ski movies that they seem to need to enjoy them?

if you dont like the music in the movie, put it on mute and listen to own music!

^because then you just negate the hundreds of hours the editor(s) put into the flick to (hopefully) make the skiing go with the music

Playhouse has some bad music selection. But then again I don't like emotion music.I just mute the sound and enjoy the talent.

Responsability,what's that?

pléhouse has the best music selection out of anyone you fool. what are you looking for in a soundtrack? top 40? ashlee simpson? get your head out of your ass and appreciate the guys at pléhouse are doing for the ski movie industry.

as well, i agree with ryno. anthony's part in x got me unstoked, because the music didnt suit his style of riding at all. that set the stage for the rest of the movie, and the only song i felt went well with the skiing was TJ's (but johnny stole that idea from someone else, suprise suprise). henriks song, kristis song, sage's song, the song in the 'crichton/candide/treadway/szocs/benchleter' segment (who puts those 5 together anyways? 5 totally different styles of riding, under one mediocre song that didnt suit any of them? genius.) all these songs hurt my ears.

that movie was brutal.

I am not saying that its crap.I am just saying that I didn't like SOME of the songs.Playhouse has the best video ever.I have both of their movies.

I have diffrent taste in music than you.

By the way I have a lot of respect for the guys at Plehouse.

Responsability,what's that?

totally agree with lanks, Plehouse had an awesome selection

of music. And X.... the movie died right off the bat. Although going

now I've grown to like Boronowskis seg. The rest of the music

just hurt.

sorry man, i may have came off as a little harsh.

my favorite segments in movies are deffitely those that have a unique song with unique riding. I had seeing the same shot of the same trick over and over with lame songs. I liked breathe and stop because it was unique. I liked high five too because the sound track AND skiing were good. Focused put me to sleep.

yeah its true, were were watching focused at his condo in tremblant, and at about eric pollards part, we both had to shut it off and take naps.

and overall, i'd say that movie has put me to sleep at least 5 times. im not lying.

it doesnt have to be "good" music, it just has to have a good beat and go with the skiing. like it needs to be matched up well. Cuz i hate like 99% of all rap but that doesnt mean that i dont like having rap songs in ski movies. they just gotta flow.

I ski at the crappiest hill ever...

seriously. everyone likes different music than the next guy. but i have to agree that bad music does detract from the skiing. you can't win em' all.

why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice?
