why is it that most ski magazines suck all the photos are from the same jumps and u can read them in 2 mins and they don't publish them in the summer which sucks I wish they were liek snowboarder which is like 300 pages each issue

i really think we should, im hella sure if we publish mags people would buy, and we dont have to feature pros all the time, we can have a spot for up and coming skiers

dudes.... NS online magazine..... it can be kindalike a newspaper style couple of pages and we can have whatever we want and have members contribute..... anyone want to help just contact me we should really do this......

nah i say a 5 buck newschoolers magazine brought to you by us... or something catchy like that... we send in photose monthly and get out one like that... i would definately pay money to see that happen... with articles and upcoming locals and just all of that which happens on this website!

if we found a way to get it published, then we would have to charge, not much though, only to make a small profit

what pisses me off is that almost every photo in a mag is a frame from a ski movie i have already seen. The photo section in FREEZE is a recap of what went on in the movies.

there was a thing that came up like this a while ago, an ns.com online magazine i forgot what eventually happened to it though, it was just like that, it had spots on local up and coming rider, pro interviews, location spotlights and shit, i think the people who were doing it just kidna ran out of drive. it will prob happen to this idea as well. but def go ahead and if it succeeds then that would be sick as fuck. peace

I'd just like to point out to whoever posted this thread...that PERIOD USAGE is a must. These little things '.' will make it one hell of a lot easier to read...LATE.

I'll tell you where...someplace warm...a place where the beer flows like wine...where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of capastrano...I'm talkin' about a little place called Asssspennnnn...
 
cool idea, but I think an online mag (paying for it) its not gonna be succesful,because you can read an see all those things in NS. a real mag (paper) would be sweet.

That's a wicked good idea, I am all about helping out. We should just start up an online magazine and see how it works. Is there anyone on NS that can make online magazines? I don't know how but I'd be more than willing to help out with articles and columns. Message me...
