Which ski magazines can you guys offer? I dont know about many ski magazines. So if anyone knows about some magazines, write it down! :)

well I own about 2 of each powderhound 2 etc and the only decent one ive read is freeze which I cant get so i dont know, just get freeze, but i dont know what you get where you live

If your Canadian your best bet for a good ski magazine is SBC Skier but if your american and dont understand canadian humour just go with Freeze.

^no ski is realy bad, I made the horrible desision to get it because I was desperate to read anything about skiing, and all it has is info on the best place to build your multi million dollar home in vail. I only get the resort guide now just to see how stupid ski is, and the put vail first Deer valley 2nd(saying it had the best snow out of anybody), I forget the rest of the standings but snowbird, j hole and aquaw were all in the back 20 or so. They just care about gooming and rich sh*t. I hate ski. Get freeze, freeskier, or powder. 2 was good, but they are out of business.

Honestly I would rather get a subscription to anything but FREEZE, weve had a bunch of the mags and they are all full of useless articles that are just meant to take up space. SBC Skier is where its at..

yeah ski and ski mag are oldschool per say... racing and shit like that.

for freestyle get freeze or freeskier... i got them both and they are sweet

i thought ski press was pretty good for a free magazine, they do a lot on newschool skiing, and yes i hate SKI magazine too

Powder has the best articles, layout, and photography of any american skiing mag. Freeze is for stupid people who don't want to look at a photo of anyone other than a big name pro, and don't want to read an article unless it's about boobs or Tanner Hall.

I'm still amazed every time I read SBC Skier, they have the best articles by far, some great photography, plus its damn funny.

They're both dumber than bricks... I don't care how hot they are, I wouldn't bone them even if they kept their damn mouths shut. I'd probably get a nasty case of sexually transmitted stupidity.

If you wanna read a real article with no bullshit find the fairly recent article in SBC Skier (probably 4 issues ago)called Saved or Simply Preserved, think about it after.

Ski and Skiing are the Starbucks of ski publications. Anybody ready their reviews on skis we might actually want? That's right, they weren't in there. Check out Powder's new format. It's the Nat'l Geo. of ski photography. Check out Freeskier to see what NS' own Ethan Stone brought to the magazine during his summer internship.

 
Powder is one of the best mags out there it has such sick photography if your into big mountain its not so great if your into the park stuff.

i go to battle field high school and it sucks!!!
 
freeze has way more big-mountain stuff than anyone gives them credit for. I think it's funnier and better written than the other mags too, definitely on par with Powder in terms of feature articles. Ski magazine is for your dad, and Skiing magazine is having an identity crisis

 
FREEZE is the Best for Park, POwder is good for all mountain, and those are the only ones i read

Freeze is so much better this year. last year they would have 3 big articles per issue and this year there are 4. powder is sick too. freeskier is also exellent. skiing has a good article every so often but ski just blows. ski is basicly the warren miller of magazines exept without any of the 10 minutes of good stuff in wm flicks

freeskier's kinda a catalog this year. What's up with all the gear reviews? I like powder's new format. the articles are real long though, but the pics are sick. freeze does more big mountina then people give them credit for and powder does more new school then people think. anyone see the sean petitt story they did, and their first cover with marc andre belliveau? SBC is cool, too.
