How come snowboard mags are 200+ pages and the biggest ski mag is last years FREEZE, the March Issue and it was around 80-90 pages. So my question is how do they get so much more content, I mean they both come out every month.

 
Because snowboarding is A LOT bigger of a sport. That means more money for the mags which means they have the funds to cover everything. Since they have more snowboarders to do profiles/interviews on, and there are more snowboard comps, they snowboard mags have lots of info and pics they can put in thier mags.

Not to mention ads. They probably have about twice as many companies looking to promote their product in a snowboard mag.

I wasn't aware that SBing was still a lot bigger than skiing. I usually only ski in Chamonix and my impression was that the SBs there are the minority. But then again its a BC sort of place.

Newschool skiers are not even close to the amount of snowboarders. Ofcourse there are TONS of Rec Skiers but he was talking about Freeskiing mags!

Although I was not thinking of the Rec Skier but those who are actually seriously ripping the BC. Still you are right.
