Ski magazine is much better than freeskier

ski magazine is much better than freeskier. there is so much better things like ski trip deals. who thinks the same?

 
I really appreciate whistler ads that are about half the magazine. So refreshing after seeing all kinds of tall tees and bandanas.
 
i like freeskiers style better and you cant beat the picture..but you do learn a lot from ski magazine if you actualy read them
 
Yeah I'm sorry, I already know how to carve, I don't need a tutorial every month on how to edge my skis
 
false^^^ skiing mag may have some good qualities [ if any ], but freeskier has the shit i want to read, not some article about apres skiing
 
I'd rather read a 40 page whistler add then a copy of freeskier. Generally the writing will be much more coherent, and the photos will be much better in the Whistler add. That said, I think I might get a new subscription to freeskier, since they are usually free, and I don't like buying toilet paper.
 
The answer to this argument is that Powder gets you a way better magazine! :) Great photographs and article that actually are about current freeskiers and freeskiers from the past. I love the magazine! First time through you take in the amazing photography. Second time you read the articles and.... take in the photography again. /thread
 
I personally think that the adds aren't too bad. It shows some cool gear which is a big part of a magazine in a cool picture.

but seriously sbc skier, backcountry, and powder are the only few worth paying for

I love Powder- so much so that between different deals I am subscribed for another 6 years- actual writing with stories I want to read combined with a great mix of everything photography wise- id pay a shitload more for powder and not complain

 
All of sudden i was getting it for free so i like kinda like it. It makes great bathroom reading.
 
Well yeah, its freeskier, every magazine is better. SBC and powder are my favorites.
 
You might want to check your meter. He was makong a statment about the type of person who reads ski mag in a humerous way
 
hahaha, i knew what this was as soon as i opened the thread. i've been thinking this for years.

but on a serious note. freeze, parkasaurus edition to be exact.
 
powder mufucka, but seriously i think feel like Ski is only for recreational/weekend skiers that spend as much time shopping in the mountains as skiing
 
this. skiing will endorse any resort or company given the money. SKI and SKIIN are for the people who commute from the city to ski 4 times a year. Powder and Freeskier are for people who actually care.
 
Freeskier is not a magazine, it is a collection of ads with no content. "Ski review: Every ski is the best ski ever made!". Not bad if you are just there for the art of photography. That's why it is basically free. I think I paid 5 bucks once and it keeps coming every year, going on at least 5 years.

Powder is much better for content.
 
I didn't read the thread, but I do want to contribute -- Freeskier sucks. I was lucky enough to be around for Freeze & get more meaning out of those old issues than anything I've ever read in FS.....
 
I really don't think I've ever bought a freeskier subscription but they show up at my house, month after month.
 
Well I have no money, so like i get SKI for free somehow so like. I like it a fuck load better then no magazin.
