Ski Mag Names Tremblant #1 Resort on East Coast

this is so frustrating. ski mag named it best resort NOT NEWSCHOOLERS.COM. Think of the criteria that you need to win this particular award and you will understand why Tremblant IS the best ski resort on the east coast.

Also, why don't you pick up a copy of Ski mag and count the number of ads Tremblant pays for every issue.

tremblant is totally overrated. plus think there going broke. they don't eaven have a halfpipe anymore. i'd rather pay 85$ elsewhere.

ya i guess Canada doesn't count .. too bad for us....

At least we get to keep our money and a stable economy in the next 50 years while you guys pay 10 trillion dollars to china. Haaaave fun!! :) I hope theres no civil unrest once you go bankrupt ;)

It really depends on what you're going for. Tremblant has a fantastic village, nightlife and selection of restaurants.

So like 20 years from now when you have a wife and kids, you'll love it.

But seriously though, I actually really do enjoy Tremblant. Its a good overall resort.

Jack of all trades.

ah, so this is why it won:

"Tremblant’s rankings are stellar: no. 1 in Service, On-Mountain Food, Lodging and Dining; no. 2 in Après, Lifts and Off- Hill Activities"

It's the best in everything not having to do with skiing itself.

They named it number one ski resort on the east coast, not the best skiing on the east coast. Go out and talk to "regular" skiers, the ones that support the growth of the entire industry by buying mountain real estate and dropping over $1000 a day each time they bring their families skiing. The actual skiing is a very small part of the resort experience.

Trembs used to be pretty awesome, but less snow making combined with lower than average snowfall over the past few years has been brutal, They seem to be too concerned about making money and not concerned enough about a quality product these days.

It sucks to say but if you want decent skiing (at least near Ottawa) there is no other option (and by decent skiing i don't mean park), Jay is way better but its a 4 hour drive so that doesn't work for every weekend,

Best in the east... hardly. Best near Ontario, Definitely.

theres so many elements and park&pipe is one of the smallest ones
some include
