i'm like 5'6 or 5'7 and i was wondering if i should get my scratch's 168 cm or 174 cm i wiegh 130 pounds

i go to battle field high school and it sucks!!!
 
depends on what you'll be doing, mostly park and stuff, then go with the shorter ones. Longer skis= more stability and speed for all mountain stuff

174, no question. if you think they are gonna be too big, center mount them and they will ski like a smaller ski
