Ski Length

heres what i do. go by ur hight, for something that is good at everything get a ski which is the same hight as u, for easyer jumping get it alittle shorter, for a better haul-ass and cliff jumping ski get it alittle longer.

my skis are taller than me and they are good i tried shorter and didnt like them at all, 165 is just right for me and i am 5'3 105

 
180s are like the perfect length for an all round good park and all mountain ski, thats what i ride

Yeah im 6'3' and ski 193 and like them bigger! Oh well, if short skis is your thing, go for it!

im 5'6 and ski on 180, i don't like short skis, its probably why i suck at slalom so much

180 IS WAY TOO LONG

170-178 is prime, but it depends on the sidecut too

i have 169, and they're a shade too short

Ya, I agree, 180 is a bit too long, but only if you do alot of powder and back country then it might work out, You wont have any problems skiing park with them, but it wont help you. I am 6 feet and ride 173's. I think they are great, and I ride powder in them like anything else. I used 163's for a while in the park, but they were too short for landing switch. I didnt notice a difference spinning so I liek teh 173 best. I thin ka good lenght for anyone 5'10 and taller is 170-178. But thats just me, everyone has their own opinions. Try demoing skis and find out what you like.
