im gettin a new pair of k2 enemys or atomic tweaks, i dont know yet. but i cant decide if i should get the 163cm or the 173cm. im gonna be spendin time in the park and and skiin big mtn. any ideas. im 5'4' just to let you know how big i am.

 
its preference if you like long skis get longer ones if you like shorter ones get shorter ones.. whatever you think is going to work the best for and make you happy in that sweet nectar that is snow... mmmm snow..

 
also think about turn radius, spin speed, and speed. i am 5'8' and i have 142cm lines. i like them alot b/c they mix speed w/ ease of turning. later...

 
142cm?? thats hella short... yet, i would suggest maybe the 174's cause they are pretty much exactly 5 4' but the 164's would probably work the best all around

whoa 142 is short. the shortest ive skied are 150, and they are a little sketchy at high speeds, but they still rip.

 
um..., 174s r NOT 5'4'. I have the 174 scratch fs and there a little taller then me and IM 5'7'. I think a 163 would be a good legnth

it depends on if youre going to grow or not. that was my mistake in getting 161 teneightys. Im 5'10 now and it sucks

142 cm. That's ridiculus... that's like a snowblade for someone at 5'8. Sweet mother you must be able to throw a freckin 1080 without even trying!

 
142 That is a disproportional,

go the 163, the 173 would be way to big for you in the park.

You can't measure skis by hieght anymore, given the side-cuts and all. Weight is perhaps one of the most important factors, as are skiing style, ability, and terrain. Also, if a person has fun riding short, does it really matter? It's all about fun
