Ski jobs for next year?

I'm 15 and have a shitload of volunteer experience under my belt.

What type of jobs in a ski shop could I get during the winter for after the skiing day?

Like a 5:00-7:00 shift or something.

 
with you only wanting to pull a 2 hour shift not alot will want to hire you. At your age you want to just be chill and have some skiing fun, dont rush into the industry to quick. The amount of work that is in there once your in is mind blowing

iv now read two of your psts and have come to the conculsion that you must be a 13 year old that has not idea what he is talking about. I am a full time studat/ ski bum. I get to make that clame because i hold my marks exceptionaly high while having 2 jobs in the industry and still managening to free ski a good 5 hours a week.

You still rely on your parents for your spending money dont you?
 
holy shit kid. ur a fucking prick. im 17 and have a job at my local shop. and i ski all the time. i was just helping the kid out hes 15 and shouldnt have to start to work yet the kid should just ski.

allright im sorry, iv had a long day and i have to be up early tomorow and my shit isnt ready yet. I am just a little on edge. Its chill that you have a job in the indust and your right when you say theres no need to rush into work, because once you start there seems to be no end, so again im sorry for flipping. It just seems far too ofter that we get 12 and 13 year olds coming on to this site giving info about things they know nothing about and it seems to happen more and more.

To the kid that started the thread you might be able to be a sock boy in a ski shop, thats where i started and i started younger than 15

no im not a rep, im a ski instructor at snow valley and a shop tech/sales at a local ski shop. I work with and know some reps, thats how i get to order and test some of the new gear befor its out. I havent heard much word from the oakley rep in the past wekk or so but i expect her by pretty soon so if i can get my hands on some new catologs with better pics or some of the goggle catologs il let you guys know
 
On that note, any jobs available in the boulder area next year for an 18 year old college student? I've got ski shop and cashier work experience.
 
i dont know what the mountains are like where ur from, but my local HILL cuz it is a hill, has lessons all day and they are open at night and i wasnt to say the last lesson goes out at 6, so if u had a mountina or hill around that was open to night skiing, you might be able to teach lessons at night, if you went throguh some training.
 
I'm trying to work on helping out a mountain with volunteering for digging a park.

It sucks, but I just turned 15 and I'm not old enough to work for most jobs.
