I somehow missed in that original comment that you were specifically talking about a symmetrical ski, my bad. I agree with you. IMO, what’s the point in building a symmetrical ski and not having true center as the recommended mount point?

still doesn't change the fact that if I'm buying a symmetrical ski, I'm buying it for the swing weight. To me that's the the main purpose and appeal of sym skis - to have the lowest swing weight possible. So I'm going to try to optimize that as much as I can.

I'm pretty sure that Andri will set up his voelks to true center. If the worlds best skier has skis mounted to true center that tells a lot.

Ski blades usually don’t have multiple mount points.
