Ski Help

G'day all,

About to head over to Whistler for 3 months to ski, and need some ski's as ive always rented before and just starting to get right into skiing.

In Australia now so i rekon ill buy everything over there in Vancouver where hopefully its cheaper.

Im about about 6"1', 73Kg's (dont know how heavy in pounds), want twin tips, probs spend about 20% of time in the park. Ive really got no fucken idea as i know crap all about ski's.

What do u recommend?

Also need boots and ski gear to, just gonna buy all new shit (ive been saving for AGGGGGGGES).

Where are the good places to go in Vancouver to buy gear?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I would get the Salomon Foil skis, Salomon SPK boots, Salomon Z12 Ti bindings, Giro G10 or Bad Luitenit helmet, Oakley Goggles and Oakley Jacket and Pants.

Foils, look bindings and the 1080 foil boots will do you well both in the park and out.

Seth's are sick, but get a real ski (ie 189cm) if you only ski the park occasionally. Salomon X-Wave 10's, Look PX-12/14, Fate jacket, Patagucci bibs.

ok listen the one place to buy the most quality stuff ever and all in one store is in mountain equiptment co-op or MEC go there as soon as you get to vancouver your one stop shop for everything! and i mean everything...to do with skiing/outdoors...

Cheers for all the help

Is that place you mentioned ^^^ fairly cheap?

they have good boot fitters? as ive heard the key to getting a sweet boot is a good boot fitter.
