I am having a dilema about skis. I bought a pair of 165 candides strictly for park (too short for anything else - i am 5'8') I have been riding a pair of the blue 177 1080's for all mtn/park. I love the bumps and taking them to the park (they kick ass in the bumps). However, after this season they feel like a wet noodle..is that normal..i was about to buy another pair of them to keep them for next year (since the geo. changed so much) but I keep hearing bad things about salomon.

Maybe I should wait to try the scratches FS, or something else..but all the new twins are a bit too fat for bumps and don't make a good all mtn ski (all mtn = bumps, steeps, park for me).

please give me your input! What is the life of the 1080?

ahhhhhh

the conecpts are decent twins in the bumps. they are a lot better in the bumps compared to the 1080's, the 1080's have to much of a sidecut for the moguls, the concepts are a lot straighter. but if you really like the moguls get a mogul ski. they make skiing the moguls a lot easier and they help you progress

i use to own a mogul ski and it just sucked everywhere else...that is why i am trying to find a ski comp. to the 2001/2002 1080. Just don't want foam b/c it breaks down so fast
