i really need an idea i cant afford new skis and im goin to re design my ski and but a different top sheet on it but i cant really think of an idea if anyone is bored draw me up a sketch and my mom is a extremely good artist so you can go crazy and my skis are public enemies if you have ideas just put them down

haha, it would make them very heavy because they would probably soak up the water, but it would have a cool texture.

shave off the old one and my mom has this paint stuff she told me....she said if you let it dry after like 6 coats it turns rock solid

Hmmm, didn't think of that... but maybe if you use some kind of spray to make it waterproof?

The advantage is off course that if a snowboarder/skier rides over your skis, you wont have a scratch

it'd be sweet to laminate money as the top sheet...not US but obscure countries that way it would be cooler and cheaper (like if you used russian money it would cost like a quarter)

You know i say this with the most love for my fellow newschooler, but once a week we get a post about someone changing their topsheet, and get all these elaborate ideas, but does anyone ever actually do it? i mean we never see any pics or anything.

just another question, if you were to paint your skis, could you take the bindings off, paint them, and then remount the bindings in the same holes.
