Ski graphics own Snowboard graphics

personally i used to be one of the people who hated on skiing graphics and liked snowboarding graphics just beacuse everyone else did. but today i picked up an issue of snowboarder buyers guide new this year, and i only liked like 4 boards. everything is the same stupid generic colour with a picture of a demon or dragon in the centre. ski graphics are ten times better than any snowboard graphic ive seen out there. its nice to know that snowboarding sucks.

what buyers guide were looking at? the walmart one? with the exception of a few companies, ski graphics still arent up to par with those of snowboards. that said, making a graphic for a snowboard is a lot easier than making one for a pair of skis

for the most park Ski graphics and snowboard graphics have always sucked. There are only a few companies that create anything interesting.

yeah, i've seen alot of deamon, dragonslayer, skulls and stuff like that on snowboards. My brother has a Burton Uninc and the graphic on that is awsome. The advantage that skis have over snowboards graphically is that you can either make two different graphics on each ski, split the graphic over each ski, or keep it the same.

look at the new uninc line, anything by capita, zion, actually none of these companies have flaming skull demons. The only flaming skull demon graphic i can think of is the new chronic, but i guess thats skis.

yeah capitas graphics are the sickest graphics ever-like last years boards and especially this years my friend showed me are completely out of control

 
Capita, the un...inc graphics, and some of the head stuff is better than ski graphics, mostly. some of the lib tech graphics are pretty decent too.

 
why does everyone care about graphics so much? do you guys just like stare at your feet while you are trying stuff and hope you know where the hell youre going? if you dont like the way a ski looks paint it or buy some stickers or something.

skiing is a way for you to express yourself, it is all about you and pushing yourself, so why wouldnt you want your skis to have something on them you like? I will never buy sksi for graphics, because i would just paint over them if i didnt like them, but why would you want something dumb on your feet?

 
its not like this is a thread where i ask what the best ski is beacuase of graphic and thats not how i choose my skis. im just sayin that teh only thing holding skis back from looking utterly dopeizzle is the space. but the prophets and fat skis are now starting to rip snowbaoarding graphics a new asshole

the capita boards are sick but the only place where the graphic is is in the centre of the board. skis have it running the entire way all along the ski. thats why i think sking graphics are becoming the shit

I actually just found out about surface skis and thier skis look dope and they have sick graphics I like them more than most snowboard graphics.

I've seen some pretty shitty ski graphics, and I've seen some damn good board graphics. It's all a matter of opinion, I look in the Buyers Guide and see maybe 20 boards that look good. Maybe if I looked in the Ski Buyers Guide or whatever I wouldn't like any ski graphics, does that mean they suck? I dont think so.

dude soup have you seen the new libtechs? their graphics are so sick, or the new option prophet, it looks crazy. The Rides with the squishy edges I forgot what its called looks way awesome too. I think that snowboards have always had better graphics. LOL just like everything else, most of the ski graphics came from snowboards. I don't get why skiiers keep bagggin on boarders? Is it a jealousy thing or what?
