WHat the fuck is it supposed to be??? blue things look like people kind of and then a sunset/sunrise at one end and stars at night at the other end?????
 
maybe its supposed yo be nothing just a bunch of random shapes with a sun set i wonder the same thing when i look at mine
 
yeah it's an artist called chilli. something like chilli top. they're real cool in my opinion. But are they the same on the 2008 ?? Look they are really similar to me
 
chili thom. hes an artist based out of whistler. his artwork is amazing. i was so stoked when the dumonts came out and they had a chili thom graphic. just like the ANT's last year, the pic on that ski was a painting by madsteeze, the dumont is an actual painting by chili thom. check out his website, just google his name.
 
Is there a difference in next years apart from coming in different sizes. This seems kind of dumb, as he 176 won't have any difference apart from maybe somehow checking with serial numbers or whatever
 
im not positive, but i heard the difference is that the 07s have a wood/foam mixed core, with a wood stinger in the center, and the 08s are going to have an all wood core.
 
the dumont graphics are sick. i cant believe nobody noticed the chicks in the graphics? look for tits and you'll find them.
 
wow... once i looked at the painting that the dumonts are based on - they make so much more sense. I think I like them more now that I understand what's going on. The full painting is sick looking.

Simon Dumont is quite simply the worst there is in skiing. I'm just brarely grasping how he could be so boring to watch.

And talk about a stack of sponsors! Salomon and Oakley!

What a joke.
 
yep and red bull and giro and dakine, yep hes stacked alright. but your right salomon and oakley are the only ones that matter.
 
its what im here for just kiddin but didnt they give him like a 10g bonus for smiling after he fell at xgames a couple years back??

but hey! throw in some giro bad ass lieutenants, red bull, and target, and you've got the essence of skiing.

my hate for simon dumont is immense. i can't... ugh.

it's a bit unfounded, too. but he's got an attitude that makes me want to rip his soul out through his rib cage. his skiing doesn't do it for me much, either.

anyhow, this thread isn't about my hate for him. it's about a salomon ski graphic. proceed!
 
On Chili Thom's gallery some of those things are defs trees covered in snow, but some might be chicks, i can't actually tell.
 
Just go to Sushi Village in Whistler and look around, you'll see a lot of Chili's paintings on the walls, then you'll get it.

While you're there, pound some Strawberry Sake slushies, and tip the bartenders.

woah, to think the internet is so in tune with simon dumont's sex life. well, you guys sure do love your pro skiers!
 
yeah i was pissed they used the same graphics two years in a row but i like the graphics

they look like stalagmites or w.e to me
 
yeah it's a sick painting, but on the final graphic for the dumont chili added some people in.
