they are old and they suck because they have foam cores and they break easily. if you want a good affordable twintip, go with the invader. or the fujative

Poor Milk Productions

^ they have the same foam core...

and u can see my skis in my signature... they are on ebay, but if u give me a reasonable offer, i can take em off there and sell em to u rightaway.

You should probably get something that's easy to learn on, I'm guessing that the switch from snowblades is going to be kind of ackward at first. Although I wouldn't suggest 720's, they wouldn't be bad for your first ski. I'd also think you might like Line Invaders, they should be easy to ski since they're soft and light. Plus they only cost $300. Hope this helps

the guy in the shop is a damn dirty liar

the 1080's are ok, but I think you should try the troubled Youth(Dynastar) theyre really stable and they're very good in the park... comes in lengths up to 158.

You shouldn't have to long skis if you're just starting off at skis...

have fun!

^His would be a great ski to learn on. Nice and soft, light, pretty short, very cheap. Look into getting his, they're in awesome condition.

eh voila

it is nice to see that this thread has been extremely friendly to a newb. here's my advice man...

since you were a blader, and you are pretty much my exact same height, i would say a ski that is 170-175 would be perfect for you. it also depends on what you are going to use this ski for. if you already have a pair of all mountain skis, then something like the 160 Fujative or the 171 Invaders would be a great choice beacuse they are cheaper skis that are great for the park.

if you are looking to find a ski that will not only suit you for the park but also for the rest of the mountain, i would say some good skis to look at would be the 170 or 174 Public Enemies, the 174 Scratch FS, or 172 Mojo 80.

There are plenty of other good all mountain skis out there, and I would say your best bet to find the ski for you is to go to a demo day and try all these skis and see which one suits you the best. the proper skis for each individual can vary greatly based on a person's weight, height, skiing background etc. hope this helps and you get a killer pair of skis.

yeah, what about the scratch sprayers or the scratch fs

Buy Ali_g's skis from him, they're inexpensive with good bindings and they're a good length to start out on
