Ski Goggles with a HUD

pretty sick idea mad expensive tho...could help a lot tho if you are going to a new mountain or something

hahah I can see this turning skiing into some video game-type activity, where each rider's goggles displays information about the other riders when looking at them...

I feel like this would be soooooo dope. Probably still have to wait for a while until they fine tune them to be actually practica

I still don't get it how you can see in this SMAALLL screen. If you were to look that low in your google, am I the only one who feels pain you just CAN'T focus on that shit, it's too near. at least, for . That screen is WAY too small to even see something.

i agree it seems hard to believe that there's enough room on a ski goggle to watch your speed/whatever else and focus on actually skiing. Awesome idea though

It would be cool to judge speed for jumps and stuff, but other than that, I would rather have a clear field of view.

This thing is probably going to be marketed towards the rich crowd who skis a few weekends a year or maybe goes on a one week ski vacation type of deal. Same type of crowd as yniq, but for techy people instead of euro snobs.

Not worth it IMO, but a cool idea.

i think those are well worth the cost that would help you so much for jumps fuck that would be useful you would never under or over shoot agien if the actually come out and have some different frames hopefuly all get a pair for sure

think tanner would still have his ankles i could see lots of pros using theses for big jumps like pyramid

I can't really see any need for these at all, if you want to know how fast you are going they have the gps anklets that you can attach which also records altitude. The speed displayed on the goggles would be pretty nice for jumps though, but not necessary. and what 450 bones is rough...

That looks retarded. I personally enjoy the fact that skiing takes you back to the basics where you dont have to rely on battery operated equipment, numbers and statistics to enjoy it - who is seriously going to be focused on the inside of their lens when they're boosting off a jump to see 'how high they got'? they're gonna wreck and eat shit...its like driving with an iPhone.

The last thing skiing needs is to become more like a video game, that's a little bit too 'J Mosely Mad Trixxx' for me...fuuuuuck that

I would just want it for the speed. knowing how fast your going at all times would be pretty pimp. very cool concept.

cause im sure you have never ever terribly undershot or overshot a jump i dunno i fucking hate the feelinf of being in the air and being fucked think about how many injures could be prevented i think there should be a cheaper version with just speed

i can actually see this being really handy

have speed, air temp, snow temp, av turn radius, time on chair lift, ect

I think they should make them work like the power scanners from DragonBall Z and display everyone on the hills power level. But seriously sweet idea, I could never justify wearing 450 dollar goggles, regardless of the fact that they do all those things. I don't need this high tech shit when I'm skiing... all I need are two planks and I'm set.

you don't really need those googles to know how fast you did that jump you know. Take you car GPS, reset the max speed, and then, GOO SKII, we once did 94 Kp/h was one of the most sketchy time on the hill. haha! but still, you won't know how fast to go for the jump. But how would the google know EXACTLY how fast you are going. GPS ain't gonna do shit on those googles.. Just sayin"

Are you fucking kidding me!!? the amount of times i land flat on my face these babies would be in 100 pieces. destroyed 2 lenses last year. I would need a helmet like in spaceballs.

"aww dude you just ate so much shit are you allright" "its ok i was playing modern warfare two on my goggles"stupid idea gapers will buy them and crash into skis sue the pants of the company and then thhey will be no more.
